Description
Warehouses are used as an area for the storage of goods and are used by many different types of people. What this scaled warehouse is to do is store, organize, and deliver packages based upon their expected ship dates. This will be done by creating a scaled warehouse floor with shelves, packages (matchboxes) with custom made barcodes, and three similar robots to accomplish the tasks.
Idea
The warehouse floor will be designed to have an outgoing platform and multiple storage platforms depending on expected ship dates. The storage shelves will be connected with lines in order for the robots to stay on a correct path with regards to the package location. Each robot will have a designated task (organize, store, and outgoing storage) and will communicate with each other in order to have a speedy autonomous warehouse. A Raspberry Pi microcontroller will be attached to each robot and will be programmed in the Python Programming Language.
