The scanner file is where the magic happens. It is comprised of two methods (sorter and scanner). The sorter is used to place packages in a correct order as well as redirect packages that need to be moved to a different location for a proper organized warehouse floor. The scanner method takes a raw input from a barcode scanning device and compares it to the package ID’s created in the getfromtext program and displays, on a print statement, where the package should be located.
