In order to scan the packages, a type of reader needed to be used. The choice was either a QR or barcode reader depending of the customizability of them. After some researching, a barcode was decided to be used and the exact reader chosen was the Barcode Reader/Scanner Module – CCD Camera – USB Interface from Adafruit.
